Does God know what I couldn't even say?

The conversation just ended. You hung up the phone, and the well-meaning words are still hanging in the air—phrases that landed like thin bandages on a deep wound. The real ache, the frustration you couldn't even put into words, stayed right where it was.

You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.' That last phrase is the key—He perceives the thought before it becomes a sentence. The grief that never made it out of your chest, the weariness you couldn't explain, the ache with no name—He sees those things forming, long before you could speak them.
